About AC Finance Consulting
“Keep those Balances Low”, a phrase that will be frequently heard coming from Malcolm M. Armstrong Jr., owner and Lead Credit Counselor at A-1 Armstrong Care, LLC dba AC Finance Consulting. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Malcolm attended St. Augustine High School, the only all male historically black and catholic high school (c/o 2003) and studied Psychology at Xavier University of Louisiana the nation’s only catholic HBCU (c/o 2009).
Malcolm has led and outstanding career in behavioral health in Louisiana working with severe at-risk youth since 2007. In 2016 he became a Certified Behavioral Health Fraud Investigator for a Fortune 500 company. After recuperating from being hit in an auto accident in 2018 (which of course left Malcolm unable to continue his investigative career), he began to restructure his life from scratch. Malcolm knew that your quality of life in America is ultimately determined by your credit score so the first step in rebuilding his life would be to pull an updated credit report to correct any inaccuracies.
In 2020 Malcolm put his investigative skills and his knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) to use by helping others to improve their credit profile. After observing how Malcolm was able to remove inaccurate student loans and inquiries from his own credit report, his assistance was requested by many. The individuals Malcolm assisted took their phenomenal credit improvement to social media and just like that AC Finance Consulting was born! Malcolm began to perfect his craft as a credit professional. Malcolm attended related conferences, workshops, and seminars where he connected with the Senior Director of FICO and credit litigation attorneys to sue the bureaus if they refuse to remove inaccuracies on his clients’ credit report.
In addition to credit counseling, Malcolm enjoys shooting photography, music and conversation with good company, occasional wine (preferably Riesling), and most importantly Malcolm is a proud Sickle Cell warrior and Mental Health advocate
“Although we have an economy in which we must participate, least we forget service and kindness is the totality our work” – Malcolm M. Armstrong Jr.
